Product positioning
Decision Keep is an out-of-band forensic witness, not a gatekeeper. It never sits in the execution path, never blocks a decision and never judges whether one is good or bad. It records each decision after the fact as a signed, chained, append-only receipt that any third party can verify offline against the organisation's own published key - with no account and no trust in Decision Keep.
The technology, plainly
Every decision is canonicalised and hashed with SHA-256. Each entry is bound to the one before it by a chain hash, so altering any earlier record breaks every later link. The organisation's own Ed25519 key signs the chain hash, which is why verification is possible offline and why the operator cannot forge a record without the customer's key. Records can be time-stamped by an independent RFC 3161 authority, and erasure appends a signed proof rather than deleting history, so integrity survives a privacy request.
Why it is different
Most decision-logging products ask you to trust the vendor that stores your evidence. Decision Keep's design removes that trust: the signature is made with the customer's key, the record format (dkr-1) is open and versioned, and an auditor can re-prove the entire ledger with no network access and no account. The operator can be replaced and the evidence still verifies.
